About Gabriella and her thoughts on interior design projects
I have been working as an interior designer for architecture and decoration companies for the past 4 years.
My background in art & design and business management has given me a new outlook on interiors and what people should receive in their projects.
Design is not only about placing furniture inside a home or a commercial space, it’s about understanding all the fundamentals on the usage of a space for your own purposes.
Throughout the years I have been studying and understanding the concepts my clients want to create in their homes to deliver the most wonderful experiences once the design is accomplished.
Changing a venue or a living space can upgrade your entire way of thinking in some cases.
Starting with the most basic yet essential questions will lead to a mutual understanding of what you are expecting. The phases of concept creation and space planning are crucial to bring your vision and my design ideas together. They put the initial thoughts, the intended emotions and the creativity of the design into tangible matter such as materials to be used and layouts of the rooms.
I work with numerous great quality suppliers all across Europe and will always suggest the best materials I can to match your desires. Once these initial phases of design are finalised, it will lay out all the planning for the following steps to be taken.
Generally, I will turn the design into a 3D model where the room will be viewed in 360º to help truly understand what the space will feel like once completed. I then render the images to present you with an almost perfect visual of the intended design. This is the best moment to make last changes that will make the place as seamless as possible and very easy to put together after the ordering of the items.
I offer turnkey designs as it is the most stress-free way for my clients to move home or opening a new business venue.
Further to the fundamentals of interior design, an extra service that can help you go a step further into the usage of your room is a lighting design, which involves a study and suggestion of the best solutions for an intelligent and smart lighting composition. A different hue can change the whole dynamic of a room from a romantic nest to a professional office for instance.
In any of my designs, I always aim to incorporate my artistic signature with a unique acrylic painting that perfectly matches the colour scheme proposed. It is a way of making everything come together in harmony where least expected. As if it were a window to another atmosphere of its own within your own area of comfort.
